    Waves Housekeeping

Just keep skimming 🐟 it is looking GREAT thanks to your help! Swimmers are doing an amazing job with making sure they are wearing shoes, I am very impressed to see these consistent habits!

    🔔 Next Housekeeping GOAL 🔔

We have 2 Monday Home Meets (7/7 & 7/21) left and the team is in need of help for set up. This includes setting up for theme, vacuuming, skimming, furniture arrangement, and more. Anytime you can give HELP BIG, after practice up to until the meet time there can be lots to do. More hands create lighter work and better moods. Please let Jenny or Tracy know if you can help. Last meet's setup was helped by four of our swimmers which we would like to relieve them to rest this time (BIG thanks)!

Thank you for your Help! It takes a Village! Go Waves 🌊

"Champions aren’t the ones who avoid the pain — they’re the ones who swim straight through it, knowing it’s the price of greatness."

    “The 5:00 A.M. Lane”

Every morning at 5:00 a.m., before the sun even thought about rising, Sarah hit the water. She wasn’t the fastest swimmer when she started — not by a long shot. Her strokes were uneven, her turns were sloppy, and she often found herself gasping through sets that others seemed to cruise through.

But she made a decision: instead of dreading the pain, she would embrace it. She started calling those burning lungs and aching shoulders “proof” — proof that she was getting stronger, proof that she was outworking everyone still asleep.

She didn’t win her first race. Or her second. But in her senior year, she out-touched a state champion by three-tenths of a second. When asked what changed, she said simply:

“I stopped fearing the pain. I started swimming into it.
